Paragraph 82(4). I would refer to correspondence ending with your despatch No. 283 of 28th July last. This

requested further particulars which are being obtained and will, it is hoped, be forwarded at an early date.

I would add that Mr. R.G. Witchell returned to the

Colony under a Canadian deportation order on 2nd June

last. He was arrested and charged on six counts of

which copies are attached. He pleaded guilty on all

counts and on 17th June was sentenced to six months

imprisonment on each count the sentences to run concurrently.
